About Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service

A local crew that people call back

Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service is a locally owned tree company based in Rickreall, in the middle of Polk County. We have been doing tree work in the Mid-Willamette Valley since 2010.

We are a small company and we like it that way. Our employees are family and a close knit group, and we take care of each other. Our arborists write up the bid. Jennifer runs the office, answers the phone and confirms your day. The crew that shows up is our crew, in our trucks, and they clean up before they leave.

What we do, and what we are known for

Tree removal is the biggest part of our work, especially tall firs, cedars and oaks close to houses, where the tree has to be taken apart from the top and lowered on ropes. We also trim, prune and shape trees, grind stumps, chip brush and clean up after storms. Our certified arborists write arborist reports and tree risk assessments for homeowners, HOAs and city permits, and we offer soil testing for trees that are struggling.

Read our Google reviews and the same words keep coming up: on time, fair price, friendly crew, clean yard. One customer wrote that you could not tell we had been there, except the trees looked better. That is the standard we work to.

Since 2010

The company was registered in Oregon in 2010 and is licensed with the Construction Contractors Board (CCB #194150). We work for homeowners, landlords, businesses and farms from Newberg to Corvallis, with Salem as the center of it. In the summer the company also runs fire crews.

We are licensed, bonded and insured (Oregon CCB #194150), and our arborists are ISA Certified, with the Tree Risk Assessment Qualification.
