Cannot say enough about the fantastic job this crew did in the cutting down of our mighty oak. Showed up on time and went right to work. They were efficient, professional and very careful of our landscaping. Would highly recommend. Oh, and the pricing was super reasonable.

After receiving several estimates from various companies I selected Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service to do a clean up on my property that had become overgrown with brush and blackberry bushes. They are truly a professionals. From my interactions with Ryan walking through the scope of work, preparing the bid, and being on site during the work to Jennifer in the office proactively confirming the crews arrival and invoicing, to the team preforming the work on site everything was 100% professional. The work was completed on time as specified in the scope of work defined in the bid. Note that this was not a huge job and only took the crew several hours to complete but I was treated like I was an important customer. Overall a great experience and I they will be my go to for future work.

★★★★★

Speedy quote and easy scheduling. Prompt, polite and excellent clean up! Great job on our tree removal.

★★★★★

We had a yard full of overgrown trees and bushes. The crew from Oregon Woodsmen came out this morning and took care of everything in about three hours, they removed three huge bushes, then trimmed seven or eight trees, shaping them beautifully and getting rid of all the deadwood. They were accommodating, knowledgeable, and super nice, and they cleaned up everything and hauled it away, the price was reasonable, too. I’d recommend them without reservation and will be using them in the future to keep my trees maintained.

★★★★★

Excellent, friendly, skilled woodsmen that get the job done and clean up beautifully. Have used them twice now and would highly recommend them!

★★★★★

Jimmy and the crew did an excellent job trimming our nearly 70 year old honey locust! This is the third time we have used Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service and we will have them back again in a year or two. The quality of their work and attention to detail is impeccable and the crew members are always friendly. We highly recommend this company!

★★★★★

I have used the Oregon Woodsmen for years. They are the only tree service that I would use. From taking down massive fir trees next to my house to trimming fruit trees, this is who you want on the job. Highly recommend.

The bid process, scheduling, and work completed was all a very professional experience. I would highly recommend Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service and will have them back if I have any future need for tree services.

Oregon Woodsmen were out this morning to care for our large cedar that lost a limb during a wind storm recently. From the first visit by the owner to assess the project, to working with the office to schedule, and today having the work done, this experience has been incredible! The crew was early to our house, thoughtful about access to properties near us, clear in sharing what was happening & assessing the tree, cleaning up and just being over-all friendly awesome humans. Will highly recommend this team to anyone and will definitely use them again!!!! Thank you guys!!!!!

★★★★★

Locally owned, great service, great workers and the owner is honest, reasonable priced and got the job done in a timely manner! Highly recommend!! Thanks again

★★★★★

We just hired this company to do a job for us, they showed up early and were ready to work exactly when they said they would. They did such a great job, you couldn't tell they had been there, every tree was trimmed up nice and neatly and nothing left on the ground. Their prices were fantastic. Would use them again and highly recommend them for anyone needed tree service. These guys were great!!

★★★★★

I had Oregon Woodsmen trim my oak trees. They did a great job and even cleaned my backyard of all the leaves which I was not expecting! Thank you!!

★★★★★

Had our quote minutes after they saw the tree, while it took the competitor over a week. The quote was almost 50% less than the competitor. Getting a quote didn't involve pressure/upselling/lies, which was refreshing. The competitor went as far as lying about the protected status of our tree, trying to get us to rush to have them remove the whole thing before it was "too late." Once we'd chosen Oregon Woodsmen, the job was completed on time as described and without any additional costs/surprises. We would absolutely choose them again and recommend them to friends.

★★★★★

I hired Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service to remove a handful of trees on my property, and I couldn't be more impressed with their services. From the initial consultation to the final clean-up, their team exhibited the highest level of professionalism and expertise. The crew arrived promptly and efficiently assessed the situation, providing me with a clear outline of the removal process and the associated costs. They demonstrated a deep understanding of the best practices in tree removal, ensuring that the process was carried out safely and with minimal disruption to the surrounding landscape. I highly recommend Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service to anyone in need of tree removal services. Their skilled team, professional approach, and unwavering commitment to excellence make them stand out in the industry. If you're looking for a reliable company that delivers outstanding results, Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service is the one to trust. A big thank you to the entire team for a job well done!

★★★★★

Great work. Very prompt. Very easy to work with, friendly and professional . Took good care of our trees. Easy scheduling.

★★★★★

Great company! Needed 6 trees removed (stumps included), 2 preexisting stumps grounded, a ton of brush removed and even some leftovers removed from a prior tree removal. All of it was done for a very fair price and with great service that only took 4 hours thanks to a scheduling change that ended up with us moved up a whole week and a half, resulting in 2 crews being open to tackle the job. They even did a fantastic job cleaning up, even taking care of some messes on the lawns that were pre-existing! Truly a fine service and would not hesitate to recommend.

★★★★★

They are the best in Salem, hands down. We had some really challenging trees to remove, including one that was parallel to the ground and hanging over our house and fence. Got it down with ease. I will only use this company and if I move I would pay for their travel to come remove any trees I have.

★★★★★

They did a very good job with some tree trimming I needed done. They even took care of some other loose branches above a play area in my yard that I had not contracted for just to make sure it was safe and didn’t charge me extra. They were efficient and cleaned up very well. The price they charged was very reasonable. Good work!

★★★★★

This company is honest and their team is friendly, informative and professional. We will hire them again.

★★★★★

They are safe, efficient, reliable, respectful, and very nice people to deal with. They just finished taking down a big nasty maple tree for me. Rubin and the crew with him are very hard working people, the mess that this big old ugly maple tree made was beyond imagination while it was still up and then it came down with a bigger mess. These guys did an amazing job on every level they cleaned up every bit of mess it made coming down. They are amazing, super hard workers!!! Thank You!!!

★★★★★

The entire team is terrific! After they looked over the huge oak tree they went right to work and you could tell that they had all worked together for some time as no time was wasted. Their man in the tree (who must have been part monkey) wasted no time getting the ropes in place and then their serious work began. Their monkey man seemed to jump from place to place either freeing a load or fastening another piece to come down. I have seen many trees cut down before but never have I seen one that was so well organized. For me and then the neighbors it was like watching poetry in motion and what a delight it was. As the last of the tree was being cut up the stump grinder moved into place and began devouring that 4 foot stump. By the time the grinding was done the others had everything cleaned up. Well darn, the show is over. Also impressive was how carefully they avoided damaging the many flowers and bushes all around that massive oak. Now why can’t all tree companies be this good?

★★★★★

Zack and crew, arrived on time, did above and beyond what was expected, cleaned up in a professional manor. I could not be more pleased. I will not only recommend Oregon Woodsmen but I will have them back next year for some additional work.

★★★★★

As a tree service that serves the Portland Metro area, AK Timber often sends referral's to Ryan and his crew to service customers where AK Timber does not service. We have been working with each other for a number of years now and his crew always receives wonderful praise for their work from customers. Thanks Ryan and crew for making us look good with your repeatedly great service.

★★★★★

I just had three trees removed and some trimming done on another. Ryan and his crew did an excellent job. They arrived on time, worked efficiently and professionally, were very careful to ensure that nothing harmed the fence or my house and they did a great clean-up afterwards. I will be using them again next year and highly recommend them!
